ETA Requirements
Confirm you meet these requirements before you start. Do not pay for an application you are not eligible for.
What Is a UK ETA
An Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is a digital permission linked to your passport. It is required for nationals of eligible countries who want to visit the UK for short stays without a visa. The ETA must be obtained before you travel.
The ETA is not a visa. It does not grant the right to work or study in the UK. It is a travel authorisation for short visits only.
